Disney On Ice: Dare To Dream

Hi, Guys!

February is almost over and summer is fast approaching, can you believe it? Weather is slowly changing here in the Metro. It's hot and sunny lately and it kinda makes me miss the cool December-January breeze which also reminds me of one of our holidays' highlights - watching Disney on Ice : Dare To Dream last December 24, 2014.

Watching Disney On Ice is always a memorable experience for us especially for my little girl. Dare To Dream was the second DOI show we got to watch and it's as great the first one. We were among the lucky ones who got to watch it during their charity show which is in partnership with J. Amado Araneta Foundation and Binibining Pilipinas Charities.

The J. Amado Araneta Foundation (JAAF) is anon-stock, non-profit organization dedicated to the vision and legacy of J. Amado Araneta (“Don Amado”), the founder of Araneta Group, who was known for his business acumen and concern for the less privileged. The Foundation exists to continue give life to Don Amado’s “personal touch”, as it supports the development and well-being of communities where the Araneta Group operates.

JAAF believes a holistic approach is necessary to influence and sustain the improvements in the communities it serves. Don Amado's vision is to bring world-class shows and performances to the EVERYONE in the Philippines regardless of stature. Thus, the Foundation gives priority on projects/ programs geared toward Education; Culture and the Arts, and Sports Development; Spiritual and Socio-Civic Enrichment; and Entrepreneurship and Community Development.

Unlike the previous Disney On Ice we watched, Dare To Dream focuses on four inspirational Disney princesses (Rapunzel, Tiana, Cinderella, and Snow White) joined by Mickey and the Gang on their journey to fulfill their dreams.

Snow White

Aside from Snow White's performance (which made my daughter squeal with laughter because she's her favorite Disney Princess), Rapunzel and Flint's performance was one we enjoyed the most. For me, it is the highlight of the show.

The Finale

Disney On Ice never fails to make kids and kids-at-heart believe that dreams do come true. Thank you very much  Araneta Group of Companies, Binibining Pilipinas Charities, and JAAF for inviting us. This experience is truly one for the books.
