Make Me Blush Nail Spa and Beauty Lounge Experience

Last week had been a very busy and stressful week for the family so my sisters and I agreed to take a much needed R&R. I suggested we pay Make Me Blush Nail Spa & Beauty Lounge a visit since it's very near our house and I've been wanting to try their nail services for the longest time. After checking their prices online (I had to first make sure they're reasonably priced), we took a trip (more like walk because it's so walking-distance) to the nail spa and let me tell you more about our experience there.

Make Me Blush Nail Spa and Beauty Lounge is located at the third floor of Hemady Square on Doña Hemady Street Corner E. Rodriguez Ave., Quezon City, Philippines. It's not difficult to spot because it's just right beside the escalator.

Right at the entrance was the reception area where the receptionist promptly and warmly greeted us. She asked us courteously about our preferred services and offered some of their promos but we just decided to try their basic services. I chose the mani-pedi (Php 320), my eldest sister chose just the pedicure (Php 180) , while my other older sister chose the foot reflex-pedi combo (Php 400).

I have to admit I loved their interior. The French decors provide a sophisticated feel to the whole place. The color palette suits my taste because it's colorful and fun yet sophisticated at the same time. I also liked that the chairs were neatly arranged and properly spaced. They can accommodate 9 guests at a time without feeling cramped.

The best thing about the area is that it's clean, and well-ventilated. The spa smelled nice too, I mean, it didn't smell like anything it just smelled fresh and clean.

That wallpaper is just too cute and dainty!
Aside from the nail area, they also have the hair-styling area because they also offer hair and make up services (by appointment only). They also offer eyelash perming and body massages.

They also have a wide selection of nail polishes to choose from. Their regular polishes are from KleanColor but they also have branded polishes like OPI, Sally Hansen, and Essie although I paid extra for the Sally Hansen polish.

One of the things I liked about the spa is the presence of a sterilizer! I assume (since there's one) that they sterilize their tools.

my sisters, already excited for some pampering

As for the service, I am quite satisfied. They provided a hand and foot soak before giving me a mani-pedi. The nail techs were light-handed and were very careful when cleaning my nails. They were very meticulous with the nail polish application too.

The best part was the hand and foot massage they gave after cleaning because it didn't feel rushed.

Honestly, we haven't been sitting for 10 minutes and we already dozed off. Blame it on the comfy chair, cold environment, calming background music, and the nail tech's soft touch. My eldest sister was asleep the whole time! Which according to her, was the true testament to a great relaxing experience/service.

Say Hello! to my ginger toes. They could not be happier that they just got some love and lots of glitters! I am in LOVE with this nail polish!

Overall, I am one happy client and my sisters seem to be too. Make Me Blush Nail Spa and Beauty Lounge gave us great service at a very reasonable price. The service didn't feel rushed and the staff were courteous and meticulous enough. They even checked their work and asked me if I was happy with it. I also liked that the nail techs weren't gossiping with one another while doing our nails. They were just focused at what they're doing.

What I didn't like was how the staff seemed to be arguing as to who's going to give the service. Parang nagtuturuan sila kung sino ang gagawa. I also think that the staff should put a little more effort in looking more presentable - a little make up wouldn't hurt. Other than that, I am - we - are very satisfied and will definitely go back. I plan to tag my daughter along next time since they also offer nail services for kids! My little Kikay will love it for sure!
